Finally; I’m Online!

I never thought it would take three weeks for a man to get a simple laptop charger. It’s a generic brand that keeps going off on me, but hey, at least it works. Also, this poor laptop is starting to show its age so I am hoping to get a new one some time after my wedding.

I missed playing the Sims so much, so I will get on to doing my challenges. I will be doing my Warwickshire on a separate blog just because it is SO extensive, and this blog is mainly for mini-challenges.  I will be perusing the web for some mini-challenges to do within the Sims 3, because my EA purchase STILL has yet to be fully downloaded. Ugh, worse shopping decision I ever made. If I had just purchased a physical copy I’d be enjoying it by now :’(.

The Base World

Hello all,

I have decided to put off starting any challenges until my newly purchased expansion pack to download. It is taking FOREVER! It has been downloading for four days already, but its only at 0.3%. And all because we don’t have a game store in this place.

Anyways, while I am waiting for it to download I am going to get started on playing with the sims that come prepackaged such as the Goth’s, Lothario, the Caliente sisters…. I never really bothered with them before mainly because they bored me. Don Lotharios life basically consists of woohooing and hoping noone finds out about each other.

Maybe, if I fiddle around with them they’ll do something to hook me in enough to want to write their stories. In fact my lovely darling suggested having Lothario become gay. Which would be interesting considering that he’s bedded many a woman. What would you think of a gay Lothario? I personally think it would be an interesting storyline.

Hello everyone!

My name is Emma or as most people may know me-Digit198801. I decided to start this blog to share my simming stories and adventures. I first started playing The Sims when my cousin got the Sims: Complete Collection for her birthday. I have to admit that I didn’t really get into it at that time. I think that’s mainly because I had no idea of what the purpose of the game was or that I could create my own tales.

A couple years later, I saw some Sims commercials and they hooked me. During a trip to Thunder Bay, I went to EB games and bought myself The Sims 2: Double Deluxe, University Life Collection and The Sims 3. I have been hooked ever since although when I went to college I had no time to play at all :tears:

Now I guess I could be considered a housewife although Honey and I aren’t married. I used to just stay at home, house clean, watch television, play video games, work on my online jobs and sleep. Then I remembered that I had all my Sims games packed away into a box. I rummaged through them and installed them on my trusty laptop. I played a bit, found ModTheSims.info and was introduced to the wonderful world of custom content, as well as Sims challenges. That brings us back to the point of my blog here.

I do have a bunch of domain names but none of them seemed to fit. Besides, what if I were to need them for a job, client or didn’t have funds to renew them? So I thought I would just create a blog on here then I also wouldn’t have to worry about my stuff disappearing due to not being able to pay a webhost or something.

I will be updating this blog with my sims stories, the challenges I am participating in and other Similicious stuff. I hope you stay on as a reader. If you have a Sims-Related blog then by all means, let me know in the comments! I love reading what other people have written!
